Applies to LDMS 9.5 SP1 and earlier. Later versions are NOT affected.
Issue
Several issues were reported regarding LANDESK Antivirus 9.5 flat or with SP1
The root cause has been traced to defects in Kaspersky auto patch “B” released on 02/05/2013.
The following unexpected behavior has been observed:
- System slowdown/freeze,
- Unavailability of Kaspersky icon in tray
- LANDesk Antivirus client UI does not open
- Slow log in times
- Computer hanging at shutdown
- Internet Explorer crashing
Solution
Apply the latest Service Pack for LDMS 9.5.
